We literally went from 100 degrees last weekend to 50's this weekend.Saturday Lexi had her second soccer game and we were all bundled up for it!Soccer is a learning thing.. there is a mix of 4 & 5 year olds and half of the girls have played before.. which makes it kinda interesting to watch! Lexi is still learning and I'm trying my hardest to be patient and not be the mom yelling from the sideline… tryingthe competitiveness in me might be getting the best of me :)I just try and make sure I tell her she's doing a good job after the game so she doesn't hate the sport before she actually gets the hang of it all! Soccer is a little more complex I think for them to grasp.. Dance was a bit easier for her to get the hang of.After her game we headed home and then decided to head off to a Hot Air Balloon FestivalWe bundled up again before we left but we were sweating to death an hour after we got there.so we were peeling off the layers.. kinda glad because i'm not ready for it to be cold yet!It was also the first time in a long time I actually got the camera out so it kinda felt nice!
We ended up going home and then headed back out there for the hot air balloon part
(they don't actually launch them.. they just have them all lit up and it's a pretty cool sight!)
We ate more fair food for dinner, listened to the band play, lexi got her face painted
and then watched the fireworks to end our night!
oh and I forgot my camera at home so didn't get to capture all of that.. go figure
